The Foundation is Good for Business!

The FLCR seeks to create, support, promote and lead projects and activities that encourage small business development, youth engagement and education, connect individuals and communities, foster wellness and preserve the unique features and cultures of the communities in southern Apache County. We are a grassroots member organization relying on community members and businesses to identify and prioritize opportunities, goals, and projects that will support and sustain the rural lifestyle of residents throughout the region.

Executive Board:

The FfLCR is a membership organization that has an extensive pool of talent and expertise. Board President, Karalea Cox is an independent consultant with experience in strategic planning, capacity building, economic development, consulting and  facilitation. Vice President Jeff Wells is the owner of the local feed and ranch supply store in the area, Liz Avery, Secretary/Treasurer is an Entrepreneur and business woman in Apache County. Board member Steve Nicoll owns the largest manufacturing business in Apache County and has expertise in small wood products, construction, biomass and forestry. Steve also serves on the Apache County Industrial Development Authority Board. Board member Scott Hamblin, MD has been a practicing physician in Apache County for the last 20 years. and is currently on hiatus serving a mission for his church. John Wilfong is the owner of a propane delivery service in the area.
